Tournaments
On the tournament tabs, you will find information about currently scheduled poker tournaments. Players can register for tournaments until they officially open. Additionally, some tournaments offer the option of “Late Registration.” For detailed instructions on how to enter a tournament, refer to the Join a Tournament Getting Started section on this website.
From time to time, we host Satellite tournaments where the winners gain automatic entries into larger scheduled tournaments.
A tournament begins at its designated date and time. Participants are required to make a buy-in to join, which differs per tournament. There is also a tournament fee that must be paid by participants.
Before the tournament begins, players will be randomly assigned to tables. An initial draw will take place at each table to identify the player who will be the dealer first, based on who has the highest-ranking card of the designated suit.
Throughout the tournament, active players may be relocated between tables, especially as players are eliminated or run out of chips.
If a tournament is interrupted for technical reasons, players who have already been eliminated will lose their buy-in and entry fees. However, players still in the game will be reimbursed their buy-ins and entry fees, and will equally share the buy-ins of those who have been eliminated, regardless of their chip count when the tournament was suspended.
The last player remaining in the tournament (who has accumulated all the chips) is declared the winner . The distribution of tournament prizes is based on the Prize Pool Structure outlined in the Tournament Play section of this website.
Enjoy the tables and good luck!
