What is HUD?

HUD, which stands for 'Heads-up Display', is an innovative tool available to our players at 888poker. It provides a comprehensive overview of other players' statistics in their current games or tournaments. This HUD is versatile and can be utilized on mobile devices, through PC downloads, and even via web browsers, making it accessible to everyone seeking to gain valuable insights during playtime.

How to use it?

The HUD appears as a small circular icon featuring a number, which is displayed alongside the avatar of each player.

The number inside this circle represents one specific statistic associated with that player known as the VPIP. This statistic indicates the frequency with which a player voluntarily contributes money to the pot whenever there is an opportunity.

If you hover over or tap the circular icon, it will expand into a smaller window that emerges from the player's avatar, revealing additional statistics and information.

By clicking on the small arrow located at the bottom left corner of the window, you'll be able to expand it into a larger interface that allows you to tag opponents or jot down notes about other players.

What’s inside the HUD window?

Username (the player’s username)
'i' (This info icon provides a detailed explanation of the HUD and the various statistics it presents)
Avatar (the player’s avatar)
Flag(The player’s country flag)
Four primary statistics (Hands played, VPIP, Pre-Flop Raise, 3-Bet)
Total Winnings (This represents the cumulative amount from all prior tournament participations and Blast tournaments)

The statistics:

The gaming statistics shown are specific to the table or tournament session being played (except for SNAP games)
For SNAP sessions, statistics are aggregated across all tables within the same player pool
The default four main statistics will be displayed for all games: the number of hands, VPIP, PFR, and 3-Bet (see definitions below)
These statistics are refreshed at the conclusion of each round of play.
If a player exits the table and returns, their previous statistics will be retained for a period of two hours.

Stats calculations

Stat	Description	Formula
Hands	The count of hands that the player has participated in since joining that particular table.	Total hands played at this table
VPIP	Voluntary Contribution to the Pot: This indicates how frequently a player puts money into the pot when given the chance.	(Total times voluntarily contributed to the pot / Total hands played) * 100
PRF	Pre-Flop Raise: This measures how often a player raises before the flop occurs.	(Total hands raised prior to the flop / Total hands played) * 100
3Bet	3-Bet Raise: This shows how frequently a player makes a re-raise after an initial raise during pre-flop.	(Total number of 3-Bet raises before the flop) / Total opportunities for 3-Betting in pre-flop) * 100
Total MTT's winnings	Lifetime winnings from Multi-Table Tournaments (MTTs)	· These total winnings encompass all tournaments since the player's registration date at 888. · Includes regular prize pool prizes · Includes bounty prizes · This total includes tournaments that were canceled or refunded. · It also covers Private Tournaments, such as tournaments organized for friends. · Includes Freerolls · Includes Satellites
Total Blast winnings	Total earnings from Blast tournaments	This total reflects the player's lifetime winnings accrued from Blast tournaments since joining 888.
