No Limit and Pot Limit poker is often considered the most authentic version of the game. Poker The fundamental structure and gameplay of No Limit and Pot Limit are fundamentally the same as Limited games, with a couple of significant differences: there is no lower or upper stake limit at the table, and betting rounds do not have a maximum cap.
No Limit Poker Betting Rules
Instead, the minimum and maximum bets players can place depend on the No Limit and Pot Limit Betting guidelines.
- Player one Bets: $10;
- Player two Raises: $10 (total wager: $20);
- Player three Calls: (total wager: $20);
- Player four Reraises: $10 (total wager: $30);
- Player five Calls: (total wager: $30);
- Player six Reraises: $20 (total wager: $50);
- Etc. until end of Betting Round.
Minimum Bet/Raise/Reraise Allowed: In a Betting Round, once an initial bet is established, subsequent players wishing to Raise or Reraise must do so at an amount no less than the initial bet made in that round. For example:
Maximum Bet/Raise/Reraise Allowed: As indicated by the term, No Limit Players are free to Bet, Raise, or Reraise any amount they currently hold at the table.
Pot Limit Poker Betting Rules

- Player one Bets: $10;
- Player two Raises: $10 (total wager: $20);
- Player three Calls: (total wager: $20);
- Player four Reraises: $10 (total wager: $30);

- Etc. until end of Betting Round.
There are no limits on the Betting Rounds. A Betting Round concludes only when every active player has either Folded, Checked, or Called the last Raise/Reraise made to the Pot, in their respective turns.
The sum total of:
- The amount of the most recent Call;
- Maximum Bet/Raise/Reraise Allowed:
- Plus the amount of the Raise/Reraise;
For example:
- Plus the total currently in the Pot.
- Player one Bets: $15 (total in Pot: $35);
- Player two Calls: $15 (total in Pot: $50);
- The Betting Round commences with a Pot totaling $20;
- Player four Calls: $80 (total in Pot: $210 Pot);
- Etc. until end of Betting Round
Maximum Bet/Raise/Reraise Allowed: As indicated by the term, No Limit Players are free to Bet, Raise, or Reraise any amount they currently hold at the table.
