Explanation of Paint
Some playing cards are designed with more intricate details than others. For instance, lower-ranked cards like the Deuce or Trey tend to have a simple appearance, whereas face cards like the King, Queen, and Jack feature striking imagery that reflects their higher status.
The decorative designs on these higher-ranked cards are casually known as 'paint'. Cards that range from Jack to Ace are also frequently called 'face cards' or 'broadways', terms that convey a similar meaning to 'paint'.
Strategy Application
While understanding the term 'paint' might not be crucial, being unaware of such vocabulary could leave us out of certain discussions about poker strategies or games.
